The Cochrane Schizophrenia Group is part of the international Cochrane Collaboration, an independent not-for-profit consortium dedicated to providing up-to-date, accurate information about the effects of healthcare. The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) is the largest single funder of this Cochrane Review Group.

Infrastructure funding comes from the UK's NIHR. This supports help given to reviewers, searching for studies and processing of reviews to the point of submission to the Cochrane Library.

Individual reviews may have other sources of funding and these are listed in the 'Sources of support' section of the relevant review. The work of this group is not supported by any funding from the pharmaceutical industry.

Although the project is largely supported by the National Institute for Health Research, via Cochrane Infrastructure funding to the Schizophrenia Group, the views and opinions expressed in reviews are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect those of the UK's Systematic Reviews Programme, NIHR, NHS or the Department of Health.
